The Ganesh idol is partly dry and hence looks blotchy but will even out once it is completly dry. I could not wait for it to dry to share this awesome creation with all.

Ganesh Chaturthi also known as Vinayaka Chaturthi falls on August 23rd, 2009. It is the festival dedicated to Lord Ganesha and is celebrated on his birthday. Lord Ganesh is the god of wisdom and prosperity and is always invoked before the beginning of any auspicious occasion.
